# CCUsageX

> CCUsageX is a free, open-source (MIT), local-only web dashboard for Claude Code usage. It reads Claude Code's own transcript logs (read-only) and shows every prompt, request, model, token type (input, output, cache write, cache read, thinking), API-equivalent cost, cache hit rate and savings, response time, tools, sessions and projects. Zero dependencies (Node.js 18+), binds to 127.0.0.1 only, nothing leaves the machine. Run it with `npx github:MHJoy99/CCUsageX`. It also shows Claude Pro and Max plan limits (5-hour session and 7-day weekly limits, reset times, pace projection) from Claude Code's documented /usage report, refreshed automatically. An optional status line gives instant updates in terminal sessions.

CCUsageX is a Claude Code usage dashboard, token usage analyzer and cost tracker. Costs are API-equivalent: what the usage would cost at Anthropic API list prices, which is useful even on a Pro or Max subscription.
